Betsy Culp
Dr. Betsy Culp received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University South Bend with a major in Biological Sciences and minor in chemistry. She is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and after a successful career in Law Enforcement she decided to pursue her passion for animals and relieving their suffering. She is a graduate of St. George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2014 magna cum laude and returned to the Michiana area to practice medicine.
Since graduation, in addition to practicing small and exotic animal medicine full time, Dr. Culp has served on the South Bend Animal Care and Control Commission as an advising veterinarian, been published in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, and has served as a relief zoo veterinarian. Her professional interests include" surgery, preventative medicine, and exotic/zoo medicine. Outside the office, Dr. Culp enjoys domestic and international travel, sunny beaches, relaxing by the Lake Michigan shoreline, and spending time outdoors.
